We will not forgive or forget

Let the Israelis and their complicit allies in the Gaza Genocide not imagine that the wheels of justice will not continue to turn just because Israel has announced a "unilateral" cease fire after 22 days of unparalleled savagery.

Have the objectives of the "war" been accomplished? According to Olmert

"Israel had achieved its objectives from the Gaza war...

We have reached all the goals of the war, and beyond,

"If our enemies decide to strike and want to carry on then the Israeli army will regard itself as free to respond with force"

This is very doubtful and problematic because in spite of Israel's near complete lockout of media from the killing zone, the world has seen what transpired and they will continue to see increasingly horrific pictures and read gruesome reports of what Israel has done to a civilian population.

So how many Palestinians did the Israelis kill in the last 22 days?

What was the result of 9-11 for the American people, the Congress and the US Government in general? A declaration of war on a shadowy and unpronounceable enemy? Yet it became the grounds for invading Afghanistan and Iraq.

What do you think the Palestinians will have a right to enact after 22 days of terror inflicted by Israel?

• Do the Palestinians have a right to attack Israel and its allies in any way possible much like the Americans attacked Afghanistan and later Iraq?
  
• Do the Palestinians have the same right to isolate Israel in the world market and world economy and demand that other Arab states do the same thing?
• Do the Palestinians have the right to demand that the United Nations punish Israel for its war crimes on civilians, its mistreatment of refugees, its use of illegal weapons of war?
  
• Do the Palestinians have the right to enact their own Patriot Acts?
  
• Do the Palestinians have the right to FREE THEMSELVES FROM THE OPPRESSION OF AN OCCUPIER and SEEK RETRIBUTION AND REPARATIONS FOR THE CRIMES INFLICTED ON THEM?

Regardless of the merits or demerits of 9-11 legislation in the US and beyond, the expectation that Palestinians and Palestinian supporters around the world will allow these three weeks of genocide to slip into the smoldering past is very unlikely. I cannot tell you what will transpire but you can be sure about this fact, that without justice there cannot be peace in the Holy Land.
